KALEIDOSCOPE IN BLACK, WHITE & A LITTLE RED This quilt was made for my son who wanted a black and white quilt. I couldn’t just do black and white so I added a little red.
COUNTRY BLUE STARS This quilt was my first attempt at stars. I tried some traditional star patterns with my favorite color.
PURSES, PURSES This quilt was made for my son’s girlfriend who loved purses. I had fun with color and embellishments.
I SPY I had fun collecting novelty fabrics that would work with the hexagon pattern. It was a challenge to put it all together. My grandsons now play the game.
DR. SUESS My most recent teaching colleague organizes a Dr. Seuss night for our kindergarten students each year. When I found the Seuss prints, I knew I had to create a quilt for her.
HOUR GLASS This quilt was made for my mother-in-law who loved purple.
BOW TIE This is the bow tie pattern using navy and cranberry. It was made for my colleague when she retired from teaching.
SPLIT RAIL FENCE This was one of my early quilts. We used it on our bed for many years.
SAVE THE CHILDREN JoAnn Fabrics sponsored a contest with the theme of “Save the Children”. Using a bundle of fat quarters of their choice combined with fabrics of my choice, the task was to design a quilt demonstrating the theme. I had so much fun with this one, I couldn’t bear to send it in for the contest.
ABC's AND 1-2-3's I love making baby and kid quilts incorporating novelty fabrics and panels. These fabrics lend themselves to a strip quilt.
MOTHER GOOSE Mother Goose brings back many memories. This is my creation using a panel.
DUCKS ALL-AROUND Pastels and ducks make a great baby blanket.
